Enacted's crawler

EnactedBot reads public government pages listed in Enacted's source files, to record changes to land-use and zoning legislation and to public drinking-water reports.

It identifies itself as EnactedBot/1.0 (+https://enacted.app/bot/).

It follows robots.txt. A page that robots.txt disallows is not fetched.

It makes one request at a time to each site, at least five seconds apart, and checks each source no more than once a day.

It does not sign in, submit forms, or collect information about people.

Site administrators who want a page checked less often, or not at all, can reach Enacted through the Social page.
